Science
The science curriculum spirals through the grade levels with students learning life science, physical science, and earth science at all levels, but more in depth in the later grades. Like social studies, Science is often integrated with other curricular areas including reading, writing, social studies, Jewish studies, and math. The Science curriculum is based on hands-on science kits available from FOSS (Full Option Science System developed at the University of California, Berkeley). This program provides a combination of science content and process to accomplish the goal of scientific literacy for all students.
