Sibling Discount: If more than one child in a family is enrolled at the school at the same time, each additional sibling receives a 10% discount on tuition.
Flexible Tuition Plan
Solomon Schechter Day School of Albuquerque (SSDS) would like to make it possible for any Jewish family who wants their child to attend the school to be able to do so regardless of financial ability. Tuition is set below the actual cost of educating a student at the school to make it more affordable for every family. Through our Flexible Tuition Plan, we are able to further assist families who qualify for assistance.
The Flexible Tuition Plan is a three year agreement between SSDS and parents who apply for Flexible Tuition. It will be administered by an independent Flexible Tuition committee under the purview of the Board of Trustees. All information remains confidential. Students must first apply to SSDS and be accepted as well as submit a registration form and $100 registration fee before being considered for the Flexible Tuition Plan. (If a satisfactory financial agreement cannot be reached, the $100 registration fee is refunded. The $50 application fee is non-refundable).
To subsidize the tuition and provide aid through the Flexible Tuition Plan, SSDS relies on the school’s endowment, an allocation from the Jewish Federation of New Mexico, donations from the community, and fundraising.
